Hotel Bellaviasta is situated on the Great Dolomites road on the way to the Pordoi pass, 7 kilometres from Canazei, in a sunny and panoramic position with ample car park.

In the heart of nature, 1200 metres on the sea level, the HotelPiù Maso Doss offers you a memorable holiday spending your time relaxing or doing healthy sport at the open air.

This itinerary leads us up to one of the southern peaks of the Apuan Alps.

A lovely route passing through the heart of the Apuan Alps that blends the beauties of Versilia with the harsh nature of these mountains, well represented here by Mount Nona with its steep wall and by the Procinto, which, with its completely vertical mass, was believed centuries ago to belong to the devil.

This itinerary, that combines attractive scenery with the archaeological ruins of an ancient hermitage, starts just outside the village of Montecerboli

The complex of the Pisan Mountains forms a natural and protective barrier just a few kilometres north of Pisa. It is one of the most ancient mountain formations in Italy, dating back to the Pliocene period, when most of the peninsula was still covered by water. The wealth of these woods has always attracted many populations (Apuan, Etruscan, Ligurian, Roman) and even in the Middle Ages enjoyed great fame for its numerous religious settlements. It is still possible today to find much evidence of the past amongst the generous nature of these mountains.

This is a splendid itinerary that offers all the major attractions of the area within the Monterufoli Reserve, a nature reserve populated by numerous species of animals and flowers.

The Cork Tree Path is an easy itinerary that is suitable for everyone. It offers beautiful views of Versilia and Lake Massaciuccoli and gives the trekker the chance to see what is left of the ruins of the splendid Villa dei Venulei.

This path crosses an area near Massaciuccoli lake, where we can admire stretches of sedge, an aquatic plant that grows in abundance in the stagnant waters of the lake and was used in the past as litter for animals, and as material for binding wine flasks and re-caning chairs. Along the route we can also admire numerous species of birds that nest along the lakeside: towards the centre of the lake ?diving? birds, like the back-necked and eared Grebes and Cormorants, and the more fortunate can admire the antics of the Osprey, the only bird of prey that can catch fish just under the surface of the water by making fast plunges that end in a dive where the prey is caught in the claws of the bird. In the more shallow waters, on the other hand, we find various species of surface Ducks, that feed just by immerging their necks. The ducks share the shallow waters with numerous varieties of Herons: We can admire not only the Grey Heron but the rarer Egret and, in the cane thickets, the Red Heron, that builds its nest in the more inaccessible, thick areas. During the Spring, the lake is home to the Stilt Plover, the elegant wader with black and white plumage and very long bright red legs.

We are nature - loving people. In an effort to rediscover our very own roots we found a little corner of paradise deep in the heart of the National Park of the Monti Sibillini.

An easy route that is full of attractions. From the first part that is in contact with the sea and splendid beaches we continue through cool holm-oak woods to explore the Enfola promontory, which thanks to its position, offers us wonderful views and an environment that is exemplary for its great variety of Mediterranean scrub.

We are going to take you to explore an area that is rich in the most ancient traditions of Elba. In the blissful surroundings that this island offers, with views of the beaches and islands of the Archipelago, we will wander among the remains of the ancient granite quarries used first by the Romans and then, during the late Middle Ages, by the inhabitants of Pisa. Starting from the village of San Piero, which, not surprisingly, has many granite decorations, we will take you along a route that is a perfect combination of the harshness of the mountains, the beauty of the sea and the glorious granite tradition.

An itinerary in an environment of medium-high mountains in which even during the Summer you can enjoy the shade of pines. This path leads to Mount Orello and was part of a series of routes that linked the bunkers in the peaks used during the second world war and from which there is a 360° view of this part of the island.

What we are proposing is a long itinerary that is also a journey into the heart of the history of the Isle of Elba. The first part, starting from the splendid beach of Fetovaia, passes through the fertile Pomonte valley with its typical terraces, where the hazards of Saracen raids still re-echo, while the second part takes us through Villanovan settlements and old shepherds’ goat-huts overlooking the sea.

This interesting route passes through the splendid scenery of the Monterufoli-Caselli Nature Reserve with its beautiful surroundings and links with local traditions. Until the middle of the last century the lignite mines at Villetta di Monterufoli were still working in this area that is very rich in minerals. With its woods, vineyards and old farms it is an ideal place for fine treks.

Montecorneo C.H. is a country house, built in the heart of green Umbria and it was realized from the renovation of a XVIII century country house. It is managed by Carla Marchini and her husband Sauro, who are great connoisseur of their region and they live in the country house with their lucky doughters Alessia, Flavia and Claudia.

An easy pedal around the old village of Castagneto Carducci, visiting an area that is rich in vineyards and olive groves. An opportunity to discover the places where one of the most highly esteemed DOC wines in Italy is produced, that of Bolgheri.

This is an easy but attractive route under the shade of pines that develops within the Nature Reserve of Tomboli di Cecina, in an area that extends for more than 15 km and is composed of three different kinds of environment that live in contact with the sea. A unique place where you can closely observe the vegetation of the Mediterranean scrub.

The Imperian hinterland is worth being discovered; and when you find cosy and comfortable hotel and restaurant, your time is worth spending.
